When I was designing our soon to be son’s nursery (31 weeks pregnant this week – not that I’m counting or anything!) I knew I wanted blue and white to fill the nursery. As the design process went on, I felt that I needed to add some more color to the space to make it feel more nursery esque and just more fun! One of the ways I added pops of color was through this quick and easy melted crayon art DIY.
Gather your supplies.
Select the colors you’d like to use. Initially I thought I was just going to use shades of blue but I love this colorful selection so much more!
Glue the crayons you selected on to the canvas. Do not use hot glue. It will melt!
Get out your hairdryer and dry one area until the crayons start dripping and melting to your satisfaction.
Hang in your nursery, playroom, craft room, etc!
