Framing your favorite keepsake makes a huge impact on the look and feel of your space. Displaying items with strong connections to your favorite memories evokes happiness and motivation to seek future events that create similar memories. Removing clutter off tables/shelves or out of basement bins and on to your walls for all to see is another benefit!
I found Bryce’s old Minnow swim suits from each year of his life thus far and I knew immediately they need to be displayed. They double as wearable art, why not wall art? Dreams of having them professionally framed quickly got scrapped when I went to Target and spotted these $18 large square frames ready to grab and go.
The framing process was super simple too. I bought poster board and cut it out to the size of the frame, placed the suit in the center of the plexiglass and then put the poster board and the back of the frame back in place and done! There’s no need to secure the suits with adhesive since it’s sandwiched tight enough between the back of the frame and the plexiglass to hold it into place.

I’m so happy with how they turned out and love sharing easy, affordable ideas to help make busy mom life easier and more beautiful! Suits frame beautifully but so do dried flowers from summer walks, shells from seashore vacations, vintage sports gloves or rackets, etc. Almost anything you’re passionate about that positive memories and thoughts can be put in a frame. The possibilities are endless and those walls could probably use some more personal interest!
Below I’ve tagged the frames, a few favorite new Minnow suits and items found in Bryce’s room. And if you missed it, this week I also posted an article about our Mudroom Reveal.
Thank you for being here!
