Dining Room Furniture & Lighting, Tile Source
When it comes to transforming your home into a space that feels both timeless and unique, few architectural features rival the charm of an arch. Whether you’re remodeling, building new, or simply looking to add character to a single room, incorporating arches can bring warmth, sophistication, and a subtle nod to classical design.
Here are some creative ideas for integrating arches:
Swapping out square openings for arched ones can make a big impact. Think about high-traffic areas like the entryway, between the dining room and living room, or hall transitions.
Arched built-ins or recessed wall niches bring old-world charm to living rooms, bedrooms, or even bathrooms. They’re perfect for displaying art, books, or plants.
If you’re doing more extensive renovations or a new build, arched windows can dramatically alter the facade and interior mood, especially in reading nooks or breakfast areas.
Adding a floor to ceiling tiled arch to this simple square edge drywall passthrough from our kitchen to our dining room made an incredible impact on the once builder grade space. We bought these arches that can be customized to the size of your opening and our contractor installed them for us. After the drywall was installed, we added tile to the ceiling. The Zellige tile took the project to a whole new level bringing warmth and movement to our all white kitchen. We used this tile and it’s now a forever favorite.
